Overview
Welcome to the Survivalist showcase. This case study details our work on card layouts, base-defending mechanics, and environmental board panels created for Survivalist: Edge of Wilderness.
Shelter Materials
Illustrating custom firewood bundles, natural ropes, and canvas tarp panels with textured detailing.
Tools & Traps
Clean cards depicting hunting knives, fish nets, snares, and cooking kettles with intuitive icon systems.
Wilderness Setup
Players start lost in a modular forest grid. Hexagonal terrain tiles are revealed dynamically as you explore, revealing water sources, game trails, and abandoned log cabins.
Shelter Building
Spend resource logs and stone items to build base camps. Camp upgrades insulate your character from daily storm cards and shelter you from nocturnal predators.
Resource Gathering
Manage action points to fish, hunt, trap, and harvest berries. Characters must balance daily calorie intake and hydration levels or face frostbite and movement penalties.
Wild Encounters is a card system representing sudden events: grizzly bears, snap freezes, and lost gear. Players roll dice to match skill parameters on encounter cards, choosing to stand their ground or flee back to base camps.
Forest Tracking
Inspect footprints, broken twigs, and animal nests to predict predator paths, securing critical food supplies before winter arrives.
Deliverables
We designed modular terrain tiles, double-sided event decks, status tracker tokens, and the base camp board layouts.
Pledge Tiers
Available in Forest Core pack, Shelter Deluxe bundle, and the premium Cabin Box collector's set.
Shipping
Managed by regional fulfillment houses in North America and Asia, securing duty-free status and low shipping fees for backers.
Risks
Hexagonal cardboard tiles require precise die-cutting. We test prototypes thoroughly to prevent any interlocking tile mismatch issues.
Environmental commitments
Our components are produced using recycled wood boards, organic linen, and completely bio-compostable resin player counters.
